Oval and Fragments 2025

Digital collage, ceramic, adhesive

100 × 70 × 12 cm

Oval and Fragments marks the artist’s first integration of two- and three-dimensional elements, combining digital collage with ceramic fragments. It continues the exploration of materiality, texture, and relationships between humans, nature, and culture, drawing inspiration from marine archaeology and early maritime trade routes. Part of the ceramic material was created during a 2021 artist residency in Denmark, carrying a distinct local imprint. The work reflects tension between organic and mineral, decay and endurance, offering a tactile meditation on humanity within broader ecological systems.
