Bulbs

Mazal Dagim Gallery, Jaffa, 2025

Curated by Tali Kayam

Noa Chernichovsky approaches the studio as a space of storage, experimentation, and accumulation—a kind of underground bulb from which finished works emerge. Presenting two-dimensional works alongside ceramic sculpture, she reveals the collage-based process underlying her practice: fragments of existing objects, images, textures, and material experiments are dismantled and reassembled into new forms. The exhibition brings unfinished pieces, tests, and working materials into the gallery, blurring the boundary between process and final work. In dialogue with works by Meidad Eliyahu, Chernichovsky explores the relationship between beauty and destruction, and the creative potential of fragmentation.
